Join me for Prenatal yoga classes to soothe the aches and pains of pregnancy and to prepare for birth. Ayuryoga classes focus on utilizing Ayurvedic principles to balance the body through āsana practice to prevent disease and foster balance in the body and mind. Restorative yoga classes offer a way to unwind after work or on the weekends and deeply soothe the nervous system while engaging the parasympathetic ("rest and digest") response of the body. Private and group classes are available. Currently teaching at Yoga Hawaii (www.yoga-hawaii.com) in Honolulu.
Meditation and Pranayama
30 minutes or 60 minutes
Join me to learn some gentle breath control techniques, or pranayama, to bring the mind into a calm resting place. Afterwards, delve deep into a guided body meditation to help relieve the stress of modern living and finish by learning a few self-massage techniques to take home with you. Private and group classes are available.
